A PDF is not evidence of understanding.
The FCA's Consumer Duty in the UK and the SEC's Regulation Best Interest in the US both require firms to demonstrate that clients received, understood, and acted on the information they were given. Most practices are still sending PDFs and hoping clients read them.
ClientRoom solves all three. One personalised page per client. Complete engagement log. AI handles the questions.
From meeting to evidenced client communication.
Four steps. No change to your existing process.
How the AI stays inside the line.
The AI inside every ClientRoom is narrowly scoped by design. Below is what it is configured to do, what it cannot do, and how the firm's audit trail captures both.
The AI is configured per firm with your firm's language, your approved product set, and the specific recommendations in each client's room. It can:
- ✓Explain recommendations the adviser has already made
- ✓Clarify terminology the client asks about
- ✓Direct the client to the adviser for any new question
The AI is blocked at the system level from:
- ✗Generating new financial recommendations
- ✗Commenting on the suitability of products outside the original recommendation
- ✗Answering "should I" questions about money decisions
- ✗Discussing market timing, performance predictions, or asset-specific forecasts
Three layers enforce the scope:
- 1A firm-configured system prompt defining scope, tone, and refusal behaviour for your firm.
- 2A refusal classifier that flags out-of-scope prompts before they reach the model.
- 3A per-client context window limited to the recommendations already made to that client.
Every refusal is logged and visible to the adviser.
Every AI conversation is logged in full and exportable. The complete transcript is included in the Consumer Duty engagement report exported for compliance.
Refusals appear as a separate line in the report so the adviser can see exactly which questions the AI declined, and follow up with the client directly.

Built with UK financial advisers,
for UK financial advisers.
ClientRoom is in private beta with a small group of UK IFAs and financial planners. The page, the pricing, and the features are all being shaped by the firms using the product in production.
Every feature on this site was built against a real Consumer Duty workflow an adviser walked us through, not an assumption about what the market might want. The compliance spotlight above, the engagement report, the AI guardrails: each one came from a conversation with a practising adviser.
We are actively looking for a few more design partners. Free access in exchange for honest feedback and a monthly 30-minute call. If you run an IFA practice in the UK and Consumer Duty evidencing is on your list this year, we want to talk.
